Hi all,

If you go to this website: http://www.natice.noaa.gov/products/products_on_demand.html

you will see the arctic base map. What is the spatial reference and its wkid? North Pole? Is this arctic base map shared as an online map service, just like this: http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/ESRI_Imagery_World_2D/MapServer ?

Thank you in advance!

The sample you pointed out is using the esri WKID 102020 : South Pole Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area (for Antarctic) and WKID 102017 for Arctic.

The underlying arcgis services are: http://www.natice.noaa.gov/ps/PS2/rest/services/ANTARCTIC_BASE_LOWER/MapServer
or http://www.natice.noaa.gov/ps/PS2/rest/services/ARCTIC_WEEKLY/MapServer

Thank you so much for your reply! It helped a lot.

Do you know if there is any tiled map server for North_Pole_Stereographic (wkid=3573)? Moreover, if we want to cache the tiles on our own server, where to find any base maps? Thank you again.
