What determines display the color property of layers?

   I want to change the color of geographic objects of my layers. The layers such as the ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer and featureLayer. Is there any ideas to solve? It is the better for me to the such samples! Thanks.

You can use a renderer. Below are two samples that apply renderers to ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer and FeatureLayer
