Silverlight in IE 10 Metro?

It seems odd that Microsoft is supporting Flash in IE 10 Metro (white listed sites only) but not Silverlight:

Any insights from the ESRI development team with regards to where Microsoft is going with this?

this week, I just went to a seminar about Road Map to Windows 8.
from the demo of METRO mode, there is no Flash, Silverlight in IE10 of METRO mode.
