I am working with VS2010 on a web-mapping application. I can always add maps and scalebar controls to my pages without any problem. I can usually add overview maps, navigation controls etc but sometimes get an hresult e_fail message. If I try to add a toolbox or some of the other controls then i get a Hresult e_fail message. I have been using the 2.0 version of the arcgis api. Today I updated to the 2.1RC to see if it was an issue that had been rectified but am having the same problems.
Does anyone have any idea how to rectify this problem???
