set opacity of sub layer

I am trying to set the opacity of the sub layers within a ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer.

I am unable to get an object handle to the the sub layers to set that property.

Unfortunately there is no such support in the REST endpoints that ESRI Silverlight API uses.
