Progress Percentage

Hi,
When I execute a geoprocessing function from the desktop (ArcMap) it shows me the percentage progress. Can I get the progress when I execute the same function on server by publishing it as a GP service.

As far as I know, the GPService only expose two operations Submit Job and Execute Task as described here http://sampleserver3.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/SDK/REST/gpserver.html I have not seen Progress reported for a GPService.
