Hi,

We are in the process of creating an admin module which sits alongside the map viewer and thru which the admin user can configure map services, settings, etc... In the admin module, when the user choses a map service, we want to display a preview of the map, and also if more than one map service is selected for a given site, to be able to overlay these on each other in the same preview. Any idea how this can be done? We were able to extract a lot from the Server except map images 😞

I probably missed the point. What are the issues with a 'classic' Map having layers corresponding to the services that you want to overlay?

I obviously didn't make myself clear. The admin site is seperate from the map viewer and is used to configure setting for the viewer site. Here, the admin user selects map services from a list, that should be displayed for that viewer site. While doing so, we want to be able to display a preview of the map. And also if more than one map service is being chosen to be able to display them on top of each other, ie, some sort of visual preview of what the site will look like.
