Layer reordering

I have a service published with a number of sublayers. Can I change the order of the sublayers from the client side?

You can't change the order with a dynamic map service layer.
You can only make them visible or invisible.

How to make individual layer invisible and visible from service...???May be on slider or checkboxes...

There is no slider since the opacity of a sublayer is not modifiable.

To change the sublayer visibilities, you can use templated legend control like in this sample : http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapi/silverlight/samples/start.htm#LegendWithTemplates
