How to do shortest path with Arcgis api for silverlight

Hello to all

I want when user for example enter the name of the university , draw a line from his home to the university with shortest path
symbols in home and university .

How can i apply network analyst(shortest path ) in desktop with arcgis api for silverlight

Are there any other ways?

I believe you need the Network Server extension for ArcGIS Server.  This exposes Network Analyst functionality to server applications
