Form editing behavior

I am working with the "Feature Data Form" sample and noticed some strange behavior.  I am using the same code as the sample but pointing to a FeatureLayer in my own Feature Service.  I noticed that after each field is edited, it appears that you must click "apply" or only the last edit (sometimes second to last edit) is applied.  And sometimes the edit does not take.  Perhaps I have not set something up correctly.

Is this the intended behavior?

We are aware of this issue in the beta, and it will be fixed in the upcoming release.
