Hi
I need to develop a functionality in our web mapping application using Silverlight API.
The functionality is to export any arcgis service map layer or a selected feature or buffered area into a shapefile from
the web interface itself.
Suppose it is not possible can I create ArcToolBox Service and publish which take input features and export to a shapefile then write to a filesystem that the ArcGIS Server can access.
Later a third party web service read these contents and stream into the client.
Please help to solve this issue.
