Deleting graphics from a Graphic Layer

Does anybody know how to delete a graphic from an esri:GraphicsLayer.

Were you looking to delete all graphics, or just a specific one (i.e. a Selected graphic).  I'm looking for some sample code to delete the selected graphic but can't find any.  Any help would be appreciated.
