Clustering while keeping original symbology

Is it possible with the Silverlight viewer to use clustering and keep the original symbology?   I ask because I have a server map that contains crime location data for our police department.  On the map each crime type has a different symbol.  In some areas that have higher crime rates (parks, apartments, etc...) there ends up being points either very close or stacked on top of each other.  I had remembered that the silverlight viewer could do the clustering and decided to try it out but cannot find any way to do the clustering that doesn't involve dropping all the symbology and replacing it with a single symbol.  That makes the clustering of no use to me.  Is there any way to use clustering while keeping the original symbology on the expoloded points?

Here is what it currently does:
Cluster point with a number in it -- Explodes out into individual points all with the same exact symbology

What I am looking for:
Cluster point with a number in it -- Explodes out into individual points all with different symbology based on crime type
