I cannot get the ArcGIS Silverlight templates to show in Visual Studio. I have installed all of the prerequisites, and the options for the templates for both Expression Blend and Visual Studio show as options, and are enabled, when I run the ArcGIS Silverlight/WPF SDK install. Yet, when the install is finished, I still get no templates in Visual Studio 2010.

As seen at the installation help link, I already had Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend 4 installed. I also installed the Silverlight Tools 4 for Visual Studio before running the SDK install.

Anyone know how I can get these darn things to show up as templates in Visual Studio?

Installing the Expression Blend 4 SDK did the trick for me.  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3062
When installing the ArcGIS Silverlight SDK, if nothing shows up under the Silverlight Feature, then you know it's not going to work. There should be a Visual Studio 2010 and Expression Blend 4 feature underneath the silverlight feature.

Was having the same problem.  Solved it by downloading the ArcGIS Extensibility SDK for Silverlight

What solved it for me; ...By some reason, the templates were red-marked in the installation procedure of ArcGIS API for SL 2.2 setup.
So, in that installation setup, by "Modifying" the installation, and enabling those templates for installation, they showed up later in Visual WEB developer.
No VB templates...., but two C# ESRI templates.
