variso years ago to develop a client-server application with MapObjects 2.4 and Visual Basic 6.0 in the organization where I work, working with Shape's files, it has a strong interaction with the IBM AS400 server where data reside all our customers.
At the moment I am developing an application with the API for Silverlight, it must have the same functionality, ie have a button to see the detail of customer information stored on the premises of IBM AS400, ie the ID code of the property to through the connection, and accessing a geodatabase course.
I'm in a dilemma
Which is better?
To perform this action should do so in the map (mxd) that is programmed in ArcObjects from ArcMap and publish the service with this action or should I program in C # in Silverlight Web application.
