Will the Flex 3.5 SDK work with latest version of ArcGIS for Flex?

We're considering migrating from Google mapping services to ArcGIS mapping services in our Flex/Flash application. We currently use the Flex 3.5 SDK and were wondering if we have to upgrade that to make it work with ArcGIS for Flex. Thanks!

The latest version of the flex API is built against 4.6 SDK:

To use the latest you will need to upgrade your API
