Widget position to default in Flex Viewer 2.4 after closing the second one

In Flex Viewer 2.4,  if we close the second widget, the top widget should be automatically placed in its default position. But it is still out of view only.  using vertical widget layout

Is there any option to move the first widget to its default position?
