I have an app based on the SFV and I am serving a large amount of map services/layers. To help organize the various layers I have separated the live maps widget into several data widgets. Each data widget has at least 10 layers in it with the largest data widget having roughly 100 layers. All map services are turned off when the app is first loaded. I'm ok with them turning on the layers themselves, but it is cumbersome for users to navigate the TOC component to turn layers off.
Does anyone have an idea of how to programatically turn off all visible layers? I would like to create a click event for a button that will turn off all visible layers without the users have to navigate through the large TOC component to get to the visible layers.
Also, does anyone have an idea how to generate a list of the visible layers?
