TimeWidget

I noticed that the TimeWidget xml config file doesn't have a parameter for specifying a mapservice like the other widgets. After some investigation, I've learned that the TimeWidget works for all Time Aware layers that are authored in the map.

Is it possible to pair the TimeWidget to a specific mapservice and not the whole map?

Not currently.  As you pointed out the time-awareness is hooked up with the time of the Map, not any specific layers.  However, for the next version of the TimeWidget, we're looking into making it easier to have it use a subset of timeaware mapservices, as well as configuring the widget itself.
