I'm new to working with widgets beyond the available (compiled) widgets found in the code gallery and I need guidance on how to proceed.
We would like to zoom to specific features found in our Flex site via URL coordinates. The ReadURL.mxml sample appears to offer this functionality. However, I do not know where to begin.
I downloaded a trial copy of Flash Builder 4 as I believe I need to create a .swf file from the sample ReadURL.mxml, but I'm not familiar with the steps.
After the widget is created, how/where is it added in the config.xml?
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
