Query Layer Issue

I have tried to set up a query on a point layer according to the sample that is posted on the reference page.  However, I am getting the error: "Unable to perform query. Please check your parameters."  I have tried to run the query on my layer, putting all the proper variables in, and I also get the same message.  Server manager shows that the query task is enable for the map service.  Does anybody know why I would be receiving the error?

Yes, I'm having the same issue.  Using the sample code and replacing the map service with my own, then changing the fields called. The map appears, but any query I make, even with the absolute correct value come up nil.  I'll keep on this until I get a solution
