Migrating from SFV 1.3 to ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 2.0

A couple of month ago I started with a project with the Sample Flex Viewer 1.3, even though all this is new to me i managed to customize and extend the application with a lot of help from the code gallery and the forum.
Now I'm back at work after a vacation and the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 2.0 Beta is released, and to me it seems like a good idea to base my application an this new version instead. Therefor I wonder if i can use the widgets created for the SFV 1.3 with the AGVF 2.0. I gave it a quick try but it didn't work, tried both to just add a compiled widget and add the source code to the new project, that caused a lot of errors that will need a lot of rewriting the code (at least according to the Migrating from 1.3 API to 2.0 API document).
Is the option I have to rewrite all the code? For a newbie that will be difficult, specially for widgets that I've not done my self, just downloaded and made a few modifications.
I've also made changes to the banner with code from the code gallery, I guess that code isn't reusable without modification.

And a last question, how much of changes is expected in the AGVF 2.0 beta till the final release? maybe it's a bad idea to start looking in to customizations as long it's a beta version?

Mattias,

I have plans to write an article about how to migrate old SFV widgets to the new Sparked Viewer 2.0. I would suggest holding off on doing much customization or migration until the Viewer has gone final. I have been on the Alpha and Beta for the viewer and it has made some major changes so there might be some more significant changes before final and then based on comments in the code there will continue to be changes from the 2.0 final version also.

Thank you for your reply Robert. I'm looking forward to that article, I hope you'll write it. And I guess I have to wait a bit longer before I start customizing the new Viewer.
And when the final version is out, maybe you'll be kind to share some of your work for the new Viewer as you've done for the SFV 1.3, thanks a lot for that by the way, and for all your knowledge in the forum.
