Map Service layer automatically update

Hi,
If I add a map service to the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 2.1, will the map service automatically update? For example, the map service has a zoning layer and whenever I update the zoning layer, will the map service automatically be updated to reflect these changes?

Hi,
So I can just add the line:
autorefresh="insert number here in seconds"
and it will update after however long I specify?

   I don't actually use this but in theory and according to documentation it should work.
