Map Service layer automatically update

Hi,
If I add a map service to the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex 2.1, will the map service automatically update? For example the map service has a zoning layer and whenever I update the zoning layer, will the map service automatically be updated to reflect these changes?

might have to republish the service to see your changes, especially if you've use a cached service. ill just have to make some changes and see!!
