I'm trying to gauge the amount of effort that's required to format a map layout template using AlivePDF. We're currently using the CreatePDF code that has been posted on the Flex forums, but I'd like to expand it to include a layout with a legend and a few other elements. So far, the AlivePDF code I've seen posted reminds me of graphics layout programming from 30 years ago...using origins and width and height to layout graphic elements in a fixed format. Is there an easier way with AlivePDF to accomplish this? Attached is a jpg image of a layout I'd like to implement.
