I am attempting to create a historical imagery slider component and I was wondering if anyone has attempted to create a component similar to this. I am not looking to make a widget but an actual component like the banner. The component is working but I am having troubles creating a dynamic slider. What I need is a slider that will change if the user adds new mapservices in the xml file that links to the slider and will change the layer visibility depending on what the user chooses on the slider.
If there is anyone who has some insight on how to so this that would be greatly appreciated.
