There is a discrepancy in the area returned in the 'Measure areas' sample app versus the area calculated from the height and width (for roughly the same rectangle) returned from the 'Measure lengths' sample app.
To reproduce:
Use the Measure areas sample app to measure the area for a rectangle.
Use the Measure lengths sample app and navigate to the same location as step 1 above. Measure the width and height of the same rectangle generated above.
Calculate a simple area of w * h for the lengths returned from step 2. Granted the lengths returned from step 2 only approximate the width and height of the rectangle from step 1 due to the "hand-drawn" nature of the 'Measure lengths' app. However, the areas are not even close, off by 35-40%
Is there a bug in GeometryService.areasAndLengths()?
