I am new to Flex. Very keen to get my head around the coding and get into some novel applications.
My first idea is to take a series of maps traditionally mapped and turned into a PDF document and make it a Flex application.
What has been done originally is to calculate the orientation of arrow symbols using the 'near' tool function within Desktop (10.0) and then apply a graduated arrow for representing values.
Is it possible within Flex to mimic the same presentation, so that when a polygon feature is queried data is read from a file/table that includes orientation and values to produce the right oriented and graduated arrow required?
Will be using Flex 2.2, ArcGIS 10.0 and ArcGIS Server 10.0.
