Our IT dept will not let me publish a map, is there a way I can put my data into a flex viewer and play with it without the server? I have one map published but do not have access to the path. I want to host the data on another machine and build an API. I have not had much exposure to the server so do not know if this is possible.

Danny,

   You can add a web server (IIS) to your computer if you have admin privileges. You don't have to have a server.
