This site is still 1.3 - but, can I get some feedback on "ease of use" for my new 3D toggle I created for our County?(button next to read arrow)  It has timers based on the clock and not cycles.  And, I might have a performance issue with my code on computers that hit it that don't have much cpu power.  Or, maybe the framerate it uses.  Zoomed in - it changes to canopy.  I've started converting code to 2.2 - but,  I'm doing this part time.  Here is the link:

Any feedback/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Wow that is really quite impressive! The only trouble I had was trying to rotate the selection, but maybe that is because I didn't know the correct controls.

Thanks,

Very cool! I could not quite understand how to control the 3d view, but i like it.
I ran it on an Intel i7 920 @ 3.2 ghz with 6 gigs of RAM and it was pretty smooth.  CPU ran at about 40% when moving in the 3d view
Any way to zoom in when in 3d view?

Any way to zoom in when in 3d view?

Thanks for the info.  Wheel forward or back zooms(on extent change it rebuilds depth). Crosshair zoom tool(wheel sizeable) should also temporarily leave 3d until the layers are redrawn.  It's supposed to give you enough time to pan to where you want and then recreate the 3d.  I need to tweek the timing of zooming - good feedback.  I usually toggle off 3d until I get to the area I want to observe.  Clicking almost anywhere should rebuild 3d in a second or two.  The slider below the 3d toggle controls/exagerates depth on the the fly.

The 3d view tilts away from the mouse on the stage - no clicks or mousdown needed.  Maybe, I need a tilt control pad and lock - thanks.
