Building Pyramids

I have some rasters that take forever to draw when I zoom in or out. 

I am trying to build pyramids to speed up raster rendering. I keep getting this error message. Any thoughts?

Hi Taylor,

Can you expand the "Messages" section the Results window? That'll tell us specifically what error was returned when the Build Pyramids tool fails. The red X just indicates that the tool wasn't able to run successfully.
