Hi all of you smart GIS folks,

I am trying to determine the service area of a manhole.  I have created a tin from 2' contours.  I have one test manhole with an elevation at the bottom.  The minimum slope on our service lines is .004 (irrelevant I know but bear with me). I have created concentric 1' buffers around the manhole with each having an increased Z value of .0045' (.0045 x 1'). Where these buffers intersect the tin will be the service area of the manhole.

SO I'm now stuck at this point on how to create the polygon depicting this intersection.  Do I somehow need to create a surface out of these buffers, if so how?  Is this a 3D analyst problem or spatial analyst or ...?  I will attach a couple of exhibits from ArcScene so you can get the visual of what I'm trying to explain.  I hope I've been clear enough to give everyone a sense of what I'm trying to accomplish....

Thanks in advance for any help you might have..!
