Projecting Interpolate Polygon data in ArcScene

I am using ArcGIS 10.0 to work with a Raster data file. I need to display this data in ArcScene in a 3D format. I have used the Interpolate Polygon tool in 3D analyst before on this work space, but using a different Raster data set, and it has projected the polygon correctly in ArcScene. I am now finding that when I try to view the polygon shapes in ArcScene the image axis and perspective ratios seem to be distorted. That is, the image appears very long vertically and very narrow horizontally. How can I fix this problem?

Also, is there a better way to obtain a 3D image rather than using the interpolate polygon tool? I'm constructing a watershed model using a low quality DEM which does not facilitate good quality TIN conversion.

Thanks

If you can add the interpolated polygon in ArcGlobe and it will display correctly, then it seems you have the coordinate system as a geographic coordinate system.  I would recommend projecting the raster and the polygon into a projected coordinate system for display in ArcScene.  Otherwise if you try to exaggerate the vertical you will have to determine the z factor between decimal degrees and meters.

So to recap, I would project the data into the coordinate system you are more familiar with and see if that fixes the display issues.

Thanks! This seems to have solved the problem.
