I have been trying this operation for several days now and have look through some of the GeoNet answers, but I still can't get it to work. Basically, I have a LAS Dataset from a UAS which was processed and exported from DroneDeploy. I want to create a raster or TIN from the LAS Dataset. I can create the TIN if I set the Thinning Value to 7900, but if I use any value above that, I just get a generic Error 999999 message. Below is the result window. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Parameters
Input LAS Dataset points.las
Output TIN C:\Users\wcheung\Desktop\tintest
Thinning Type RANDOM
Thinning Method NODE_COUNT
Thinning Value 7999
Maximum Number of Output Nodes 10000000
Z Factor 1
Environments
Output Coordinate System GEOGCS['GCS_WGS_1984',DATUM['D_WGS_1984',SPHEROID['WGS_1984',6378137.0,298.257223563]],PRIMEM['Greenwich',0.0],UNIT['Degree',0.0174532925199433]]
