KMZ and Collada

Hi all, we are currently working with a KMZ 3D mesh file which contains a .DAE (Collada) and KML georeferencing info. I can open the file in ArcGIS Pro and it looks great but we can’t seem to find any way (without something like FME) of publishing it as a Scene Layer (3D Object) in ArcGIS Online. Anyone got any experience with this kind of workflow and AGOL?

I use this workflow:

Import 3D Files (3D Analyst) OR Import 3D Objects (Data Management) and then --> Create 3D Object Scene Layer Content (Data Management) --> and upload (or RClick in Pro and Share as Web Layer) to ArcGIS Online
