In the terrain to raster tool, you have two options for the sampling distance.
ArcMap seems to automatically choose the cell_size number when you select CELLSIZE as the method.
What math/logic goes behind choosing this number?
How would I go about determining for myself what the number should be instead of relying on the ArcMap supplied number?
