Setting alerts for Maps / Apps / Experiences

Could we set response time alerts for apps / maps / experiences as a whole rather than just services?

That way we can see if the app as a whole is performative vs the individual services??

That absolutely does help.....just struggling with the 'plugging the app URL in' bit!!

Seems to be no obvious way of adding specifics in 2026 via URL (that I can find)

Hey Chris,

That makes total sense. Tracking the actual map or app latency can be done in ArcGIS Monitor. It doesn't natively bundle those service alerts into an "app"

If you just plug your specific app or Experience Builder URL into Monitor, you can set a custom alert rule directly on its overall response time metric. That gives you a single, global threshold for the whole page load.

I should have been clearer in my original post, I am suggesting setting response time alerts against maps / apps / experiences opposed to failures.

Currently, ArcGIS Monitor and ArcGIS Enterprise do not natively support unified alerting for a web application as a single holistic entity; alerting remains focused at the component and service level.

I would recommend deploy Third-Party Synthetic Monitoring (APM)

These platforms run a headless browser script that navigates your app, clicks widgets, and maps layers. You receive a single, high-severity alert if the script fails or if global application latency drops below an acceptable threshold, catching infrastructure bottlenecks before users report them.
