Creating sticky headers in survey123 web app?

Question

I have a survey123 form designed in survey123connect. The form is extremely long and has multiple groups. Users may have multiple forms open. To that end, I would like my title to remain in place while scrolling so they can always see which record they are working on.

This is the default functionality of the header in Survey123Connect, but some of the users do not have the app downloaded and are using the web browser version. In the web browser, the heading disappears when they scroll and I cannot find a way to make it stick.

I could maybe try and insist that everybody download the app, but I'm not convinced we'll even be able to do that on all our equipment. I can of course just put the name at the beginning of every group, but it seems inelegant and I'd rather just have the heading remain sticky. Is there any way to do this, via some HTML coding that I don't know about?

Have you looked at embedding the survey in a web page, dashboard, experience, etc? That would give you some more control over banners displaying at the top of a page. There are a few different ways to embed surveys you can get to from this link if you look at the table of contents.

Another option is if you have a field that captures a key identifier of the survey, or you could even add a note field with the survey's name, then you could call that field in a group's name and give people an indicator as they transition through groups what survey they are working in.

Another benefit of using pages would be that you can click the Page X of Y and quickly navigate to that page rather than scrolling through a long form or switching through every page.

Another consideration would be to use "pages" to separate the groups. instead of a long scroll.  The header would be visible more often, and they would see it for sure each time they moved pages.
