Test Notification Email NOT Working to Just ONE Distribution Group Email

We are using ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1.0.

I can send a Test Email to my work email – no problem.

2. I can send a Test Email to a known Distribution Group Email – no problem. (Now this is where it gets weird.)

THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WEIRD..

3. HOWEVER, NOT working to a past or newly-created Distribution Group Email (that does work in general from other emails inside and outside the firewall, but NOT from Monitor.)

(It does have the word “monitor” in the email name – Is that a problem?)

Any suggestions would be great. The IT Infrastructure people have no idea at this point and we have attempted a few things - New Group email, from our own Outlook, from personal emails, etc. No luck.

@TylerTheobald @DerekLaw THANK YOU BOTH so much! IT just popped into my office and it is Fixed! He said that he just "fixed" the original distribution group email that still had "monitor" in it without either of your suggestions, but it works now! No idea what they did as I did forwarded your comments to them. Either way, I am happy and it is working. Thanks so much for your advice!

Teresa, do you have an internal IT email administrator that can look at the email events? They should be able to determine exactly what is happening to see if it is a problem with AGM or email server routing issue.

Also, did you try putting AGM logging to debug level and then looking in the log to see if there's any log entry difference between when it sends a successful email to this "bad" address?

This should not be an issue with ArcGIS Monitor.

This sounds like an issue with your email server.

Thanks for your reply. I have been working with my IT email admins and have forwarded your possible solution to them. They are currently at a loss, hence why I reached out here. I will let you know!
