Survey with 3 tests with the first group preselected as 'yes'

Your patience and input is greatly appreciated: 

I have a survey that has 3 groups: The first Milk Test is used the majority of the time but we need an option to periodically bypass the Milk Tests and select ONLY Chill and/or Well Water Tests. 

I know my question has something to do with Hidden & Relevant. My concern is: (See #1-below).

#1 for Milk Tests: These tests are preselected as 'Yes."  Can these tests be bypassed/hidden and if that is the case will the 'Yes' selections be ignored?

#2 for Chill Water: Want to see this and bypass Milk Test.

#3 for Well Water: Want to see this and bypass Milk Test.

There's three different ways to hide questions.  Relevant, Visible, and Hidden. 

Relevant is a column in the xls form and you set the condition that shows the form. For example if you have a question like Milk_tests_performed? Yes/No and want to show/hide the milk test group questions based on that response you would put in something selected(${Milk_tests_performed}, 'Yes') in the relevant field for the milk test group and it will then show the group if yes is selected or hide it otherwise.  

If you use the relevant column, it will not populate any answers in those fields if the conditions are not met and clear out anything that was entered if the condition that made the field visible changes.  This sounds like the one you are looking for to address concern #1.

The column body::esri:visible functions the same way as relevant, except it does not clear out answers if the conditions to make the question visible are not met.  For example, you hit yes in the milk test performed question and revealed the Milk Group questions. You enter some responses for the questions and then realize, oops, I'm not meant to be doing the Milk Test here and change the response for milk test performed from yes to no.  It hides the Milk Group questions, but keeps any responses already entered, so you can end up with bad data in your feature layer.    

Hidden is an appearance column function and makes the field invisible to the survey user, there's no way to set conditions to make it visible.  You'd use this if you want a field in the feature layer, but don't want form users to see or interact with it.
