Determine if item stored in mobile or file GDB is registered with the geodatabase (using the UI)

Regarding the following item types:

Database view stored in a mobile geodatabase
Standalone table stored in a mobile geodatabase (possibly created using a SQL client)
Database view stored in a file geodatabase

Is there a way to determine if an item is registered with the geodatabase or not?

Other than trying to register the item with the geodatabase using the GP tool, and getting an error message because it's already registered:
