Hello all,
This is an idea post from my Community question - https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-questions/related-records-in-hosted-feature-service-in-map/td-p/1347939
The Map Viewer Forms in AGOL now supports hosted data related records for data that has a relationship configured where the feature is the parent (origin) and the table is the child (destination). Blog about it: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/introducing-related-record-editing-in-map-viewer/
This idea is for Map Viewer Forms in AGOL (hosted data) to support a table-to-feature relationship (where the table is the parent (origin) and the feature is the child (destination)). This is considered a better practice in this documentation: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.1/help/data/relationships/relationship-class-properties.htm to preserve the table records foreign key field in case the feature is deleted.
Please give this kudos if you could see the value in this so this could gain more traction. Thanks!
Hi all!
Running into this same issue in ArcGIS Pro. This doesn't work https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/navigation/use-related-data-in-pop-ups.htm if you have the relationship table to feature class.
