Issue with cascading selects

I am working on a hydrant test form and hope someone can help (I couldn't find this specific issue using the thread search).

 

 

 

I've entered a similar expression for each of the models in the choices sheet within the filter column. 

 

In the last picture, only the first 3 results should be displayed.

Not sure what the filter column is for?  You want to put just the value in a column in the list then in your select one use the choice_filter column to put the selected(${LoticOrLentic}, Gtype) part.
