Hi Matt, I've seen the functionality of the new reports in ArcGIS Pro 2.3 and I really like the customization options and design interface. Our users are still mostly generating formatted reports using ArcMap and Survey123.arcgis.com. We will be able to implement this Pro feature once the service supports embedding charts, maps, and photo attachments. Cheers, Alex

One workaround we're using is allowing the user to click off the analyte values they don't want to see using the serial chart Legend. This is a functional workaround but could offer more customization. The legend labels can be customized but they can't be turned off by default.

Is there a way to use some kind of category selector to select custom series (fields in the table) for a serial chart? We have a water sample service that measures the concentration of dozens of different analytes that can be displayed in series using Categories From Features on a serial chart. We use category and date selectors to filter the chart for a single water source but we would also like to be able to prompt a user for only those analyte concentrations they want to see values for. The ideal method would be prompting the user for the fields they want to see displayed on the chart. The idea would be that a user could select "Copper" and/or "Aluminum" and see a serial chart displaying the values for just those fields.

Indeed, the itemID was not the same in the service JSON. It was still pointing to a previously deleted service. I was able to copy/paste the itemID of the correct Portal item into the service JSON using the admin directory. The service and Portal item seem to be maintaining the same sharing properties now. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the reply, I am an administrator in my organization. The portal items are owned by me and are shared the way they should be. As I understand it, it's the underlying image service that the image layers are created from that have the sharing/ownership issue. Am I correct in thinking the image service can have different sharing properties than the image layer? Should I be asking this question elsewhere as an ArcGIS Server issue?

I have published multiple image services to our federated image server on our 10.5.1 Enterprise deployment. These were shared to "Everyone" in order to share to our internal network without requiring users to sign in to view the imagery. This works fine for a few days until my users report the imagery has disappeared. Checking server manager reveals that I am no longer the owner of the services (neither are the other admin accounts) and I cannot change the ownership nor can I see who the present owner is. Is there a way to see who owns a service? I have restarted the server and republished each of these services but this keeps happening. The image layers in Portal are shared appropriately to "Everyone" but the layers with these services can't be viewed except by signing in with admin credentials. Any insights into this issue? Goblins?

I still can't seem to get the multiple lines formatted right. I replaced the commas with dashes (I noticed the pulldata stops parsing at a comma) and added \n to the records in Bottles Required field. Sample Suite Bottles Required 12 A HDPE 250 ml--Preserved (HNO3)--Filtered\nBoston 1 Ltr--Preserved (H2SO4)--Unfiltered 142 B HDPE 250 ml--Preserved (HNO3)--Filtered\nHDPE 500 ml--Preserved (HNO3)--Unfiltered\nHDPE 500 ml--Unpreserved--Unfiltered\nVials 40 ml--Preserved (HCL)--Unfiltered 1827 TXA Boston 1 Ltr--Preserved (H2SO4)--Unfiltered The result pulled for '12 A' is: HDPE 250 ml--Preserved (HNO3)--Filtered\nBoston 1 Ltr, Preserved (H2SO4), Unfiltered I also tried adding \n to the records with the line breaks in the cells (the second table in my previous comment) but pulldata also stops parsing at the line break regardless of the escape character.

James, I have a similar question about working around this multiple-line problem. My inspection survey is assigned with a Sample Suite number that determines the number and type of samples that need to be taken as part of a survey. A specific Sample Suite can require multiple kinds of bottles that need to be collected. The pulldata table looks like this: Sample Suite Bottles Required 12 A HDPE 250 ml, Preserved (HNO3), Filtered 12 A Boston 1 Ltr, Preserved (H2SO4), Unfiltered 142 B HDPE 250 ml, Preserved (HNO3), Filtered 142 B HDPE 500 ml, Preserved (HNO3), Unfiltered 142 B HDPE 500 ml, Unpreserved, Unfiltered 142 B Vials 40 ml, Preserved (HCL), Unfiltered 1827 TXA Boston 1 Ltr, Preserved (H2SO4), Unfiltered I just need a way to display these multiple lines to the user to show them what kind of bottles they need to collect given a certain sample suite number. These values don't have to persist with the record. I was able to concatenate the Bottles Required per Sample Suite: Sample Suite Bottles Required 12 A HDPE 250 ml, Preserved (HNO3), Filtered Boston 1 Ltr, Preserved (H2SO4), Unfiltered 142 B HDPE 250 ml, Preserved (HNO3), Filtered HDPE 500 ml, Preserved (HNO3), Unfiltered HDPE 500 ml, Unpreserved, Unfiltered Vials 40 ml, Preserved (HCL), Unfiltered 1827 TXA Boston 1 Ltr, Preserved (H2SO4), Unfiltered but the carriage returns don't translate back to the survey and if I concatenate them all in the same line, the format is messy. Anything I should try?

I should mention that I have been testing in iOS but we are primarily using Android devices for field inspections. It seems Workforce in Android does not recognize these custom pop-up configurations. The popup in my map displays the layer attributes in their default configuration even when I have a custom configuration set. When can we expect a new version of Workforce? Is there a roadmap kept up anywhere publicly? Our field workers are anxious to start integrating this app.

Hi Craig, We only have one assignment type for the project in question, so we could specify the field mapping for the entire feature layer. However, having the option to specify the schema for multiple assignment types would be ideal. I hope this answers your question.

The Survey contains a related table whose schema reflects the survey form. The survey was created from a map service featuring the SAA_Inventory (objects to be regularly inspected) and a related SAA_Inspections table. The form was customized to fill the related table rather than the inventory layer. The inventory layer has some attributes (like container type and building name) that are necessary for context but it's the inspections table that needs to be passed the parameters and filled out per inspection. This was a previous workaround to get multiple inspections to relate to one object without creating a bunch of points. The integration only gives the option to pass information to the inventory layer in this case.

Hi Aaron, I'm glad to hear it. Thanks for chasing that down so quickly. I should mention this is all a workaround to pass parameters from an existing point feature to the survey form. We would be able to use the native integration if assignment features could inherit certain attributes from a point feature they were created from. We would also need to be able to select a related table instead of the geometry layer as the 'Survey123 Question'.

That is correct. The Inventory feature layer (the objects being inspected) and the Inspections table (composed of completed surveys) share a relationship as a way to associate multiple inspections to a single object. They expect some parameters to pass in before they fill the rest themselves. We are not using the native assignment integrations.

We've successfully integrated Survey123 with Collector using custom URLs in popups but we are hitting a roadblock while integrating Survey123 with Workforce using the same method. In Workforce, the same URL will successfully download the target survey but none of the parameters therein are passed on. I see that Workforce can integrate with both Collector and Survey123 at the assignment level but we've been unable to pass attributes from existing facilities, containers, buildings, etc. to the inspection form using this method. The URL successfully passes all parameters and looks like this: arcgis-survey123://?itemID=b4d070xxxxxxxxxx&field:WasteState={WasteState}&field:WasteStream={WasteStream}&field:saa_id={SAA_ID}&field:saa_building={Building}&field:saa_loc={SpecificLocation} Do I have to adjust my syntax for this link to pass the parameters in Workforce or is there another step to do this?
