Buen Dia Cuando se realiza el proceso de creación de un Locator (Geocodificador) se generan únicamente los archivos de la carpeta locator, ¿Cual es la función de estos archivos?, en la plataforma ArcGIS, puntualmente en ArcGIS Desktop se pueden utilizar estos geocodificadores para asignar coordenadas de Latitud y Longitud a los datos y disponerlos en un mapa, los proveedores de cartografía como Street Map Premium ya disponen de estos archivos para obtener a partir de una Dirección y Ciudad las coordenadas Latitud, Longitud. En el caso de la carpeta Geocoding que dispone en la imagen estos archivos no son creados a partir de la creación del locator.
