I have always found the concept of ArcGIS Dashboard to be intriguing and practical. But common examples show dashboards for managing emergencies, monitoring local government expenditures, and real-time logistics, so dashboards seemed a bit far removed from the world of teaching and learning.
My perception has changed after this month's webinar! Esri colleague Derek Law, Technology Evangelist on the Apps Product Management team walked us through the basics of the latest Operations Dashboard app. Our own Charlie Fitzpatrick showed us additional examples, including a couple for student data exploration. Do you like Survey 123? Participant Erika Klose even shared a link to her own first dashboard. It connects a Survey123 data form with a dashboard, where the survey questions can be answered AND results are updated in real time!
