Change Details pane in AGOL app template

I made a simple web app using the App template in my ArcGIS online.

Now that I am finished I want to go back and modify a couple of things. Specifically I want to change the verbiage in the
details pane.

When I go back to the app in AGOL it give me a configure app button, but I only see check marks to turn tools off and on. How to I change the verbiage in the tool?

Hi Kathleen,

Yes, that text can be changed for an existing app.

You should see several categories of settings on the left side when configuring the Basic Viewer app. The checkboxes to enable/disable tools are in the Toolbar tab.

If you go to the General tab you should see a field for Details.

Whatever you have in the Details box is what appears in that panel.

Hmmm, that makes me wonder if things like this can be changed without having to delete and re-create the template (I hope this isn't the case).
