On Windows, we can just run "Repair installation" if something goes wrong with the installation directory.
How do we handle this on Linux?
During an upgrade from 10.9.1 to 11.5, the installation process was cancelled accidentally.
Now the ArcGIS installation is only partial. The Error log recommends to "run the setup again",
however the setup cannot be run again, because "ArcGIS is already installed"...
In this specific case, it is about ArcGIS Server. It is part of a HA. The other Server is already successfully upgraded to 11.5. Config and content are on a shared network drive.
What is the best way to fix this?
I was thinking:
- remove defective Server from Site, uninstall ArcGIS Server, Install ArcGIS Server 11.5 + WebAdaptor, Join to Site to recreate HA
Any other ideas or better solutions with less hassle?
Any way to "force" the setup to install ArcGIS? (Result would be something similar to what we have on Windows with the repair installation)
