How To Add Calcite Modal To Hub Site

Hi,

I'm trying to add a modal to my hub site as this article says they are now supported: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-hub-blog/make-your-site-dynamite-with-calcite-design/ba-p/1386336 .

When adding this code to my hub site (https://developers.arcgis.com/calcite-design-system/components/modal/), the modal does not work because I can't use Javascript to open/close it. Could someone please provide the code of a Calcite modal being opened/closed by a Calcite button on ArcGIS Hub as JavaScript is not supported?

I'm currently trying to switch my current modals from Bootstrap 3 to Calcite.
