Loading a shapefile with ArcGIS 100.0.0 Java SDK

I'm converting to SDK 100.0.0 but seem to fail to find the way to load a shapefile. Anyone has any suggestions?

I have 100.1 downloaded and it appears that shapefile support is STILL not available. Can you confirm this as true and do you have a timeframe when it will be available?
